Following the June release of the highly successful Superman reboot, "Man of Steel", the film's lead star, Henry Cavill, and "Big Bang Theory" actress, Kaley Cuoco began dating but unfortunately, the relationship was over as qickly as it began.

According to a new report from OK Magazine, the split was due to Cuoco being overwhelmed by Cavill's sudden popularity from the blockbuster film and could not handle the constant attention and scrutiny from the media.

"She just got overwhelmed with the very public Superman relationship," stated a source close to Cuoco. "She's not used to that much attention and chaos in her life."

At the time of the relationship, Cavill had stated that he was a big fan of "The Big Bang Theory" and had always wanted to date Kaley. Cuoco also took to Twitter and praised the new film stating, "Everyone go see 'man of steel'. It's fantastic in every single way."

Since the time of the split, Cuoco has started dating tennis player Ryan Sweeting in a much less public relationship.

Cavill, who had been dating fellow actress Gina Carano prior to Cuoco, currently appears to be single and enjoying the bachelor lifestyle.
