The Valley Free Press reports that Plano, IL Mayor Bob Hausler and Bill Doyle of Warner Bros. will be the special guests at the opening of the Plano United Methodist Church Farmers Market on Saturday, July 16th.

Doyle is the supervising location manager for Zack Snyder's Superman reboot, "Man of Steel" which will be filming its Smallville scenes in Plano in the coming weeks. He has also worked on such films as "Star Trek", "2012" and most recently, "Green Lantern".

Everyone in the Plano area is encouraged to come out for an opportunity to meet the Mayor and ask Doyle about the Superman movie being filmed in Plano, and find out how Plano was selected to be Smallville.
