Actor Michael Shannon, who stars as General Zod in "Man of Steel", will host a special screening of the blockbuster film at the AMC Loews Theater in Chicago, IL on Saturday, June 22nd.

The screening is presented by A Red Orchid Theatre which Shannon is a Founding Ensemble Member of. The theater is located in the Old Town district of Chicago and is currently in its twentieth year of producing.

Following the screening, attendees are invited to an after party at the Rockit Bar & Grill with complementary appetizers and cocktails as well as special Kryptonite-style 'mock-tails' for the younger crowd.

The AMC Loews Theater is located at 600 North Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago, IL. while the Rockit Bar & Grill a short distance away at 22 West Hubbard Street.
