May 30, 2011: Superflicks of the Week: May 30th - June 5th

'Superflicks of the Week' has returned and will once again feature all the Superman themed programming for the upcoming week on US television stations along with a brief description of each listing.

Whether it is episodes of 'Smallville', 'Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman' or a re-airing of such classics as 'Superman: The Movie' or 'Superman and the Mole Men', you'll find them all listed here to help you plan your Super-viewing schedule for the week!

Here are the Superflicks for the week of May 30 - June 5, 2011:

  • "Young Justice: Denial"
    Friday, June 3rd - 6pm (EST)
    Cartoon Network:
    The team look for Kent Nelson, who has disappeared; Wally West battles Abra Kadabra and Klarion the Witch Boy, confrontations that test Wally's dismissal of magic.

  • "Smallville: Shield"
    Friday, June 3rd - 8pm (EST)
    The CW Network:
    Cat Grant (Keri Lynn Pratt) is hired by the Daily Planet to replace Lois, who has left for Egypt. When Clark saves Cat from an assassin named Deadshot (Bradley Stryker) he uncovers a plot against the Blur. Meanwhile, Lois finds herself under Carter Hall's protection in Egypt.

  • "Look, Up in the Sky! The Amazing Story of Superman"
    Sunday, June 5th - 9am (EST)
    Bio Network:
    A history of the fictional superhero who first appeared in comics in 1938 examines his portrayal in television and films, including the 1950s TV series starring George Reeves; the Christopher Reeve films; and the TV series “Smallville” and “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.”
