May 24, 2011: Superman Stage Production Takes Flight in Chicago
Un-Speak-Able, a theater ensemble group that relies on movement and body language as a key element of storytelling, is currently presenting a production of "Superman: 2050" at Donny's Skybox Studio Theatre in Chicago, IL.
"Superman: 2050" is a story of epic proportions and involves the Man of Steel attempting to save the Midwest’s beloved rail network from the evil plans of Lex Luthor. The play is performed on a 21 square feet platform with seven actors using only their bodies to create props, scenery, soundtrack and characters.
All performances take place at midnight and are scheduled for May 28th and June 4th, 11th & 18th at Donny's Skybox which is the Second City Theatre's small upstairs space used for incubating experimental shows and late-night standup.
