The Beacon News reports that city of Plano, IL is beginning to get Superman fever after the recent announcment that areas of town will be used as filming locations for Zack Snyder's upcoming Superman reboot.

The article states that the Mayor of Plano, Bob Hausler has not yet received final confirmation from Warner Bros. but has been in all sorts of secret talks with Hollywood for a few weeks now.

"I'll be more excited when it’s official," said Hausler. "One of the things Warner Bros. told us was they not only loved our great looking buildings, it was the friendliness and helpfulness of the people."

Plano's Chamber of Commerce President Rich Healy also indicated that after speaking with a Warner Bros. front man, he has learned that a piece of Rotary Club-owned property down by Plano's Fox River may have to be cleared for a 'bus-crashes-in-river' scene.
