Henry Cavill recently paid a visit to over 100 Airmen at Edwards Air Force Base during a break in the filming of Zack Snyder's Superman reboot, "Man of Steel".
CosmicBookNews.com reports that Cavill took time to chat with the troops, sign autographs and pose for photographs.
"I have such great respect for military members and what they do," stated Cavill on his visit. "It's important that they know how valuable their service is. It is a pleasure to tell them how much they're appreciated."
Two of Cavill's brothers also serve in the military for Great Britain.

Superman is scheduled to make his return to the silver screen on Friday, June 14, 2013.
