Clark learns from Tess that Lex is alive and may have kidnapped Lana. She also reveals what Lana went through after her coma. Elsewhere, Tess breaks into a secret LuthorCorp facility and makes a shocking discovery. Allison Mack, who plays Chloe, directed the episode.

In this not-so-high-flying adventure, the Man of Steel (Brandon Routh), after disappearing for five years, reappears in Metropolis to battle villainous Lex Luthor (Kevin Spacey). Kate Bosworth costars as Lois Lane. Directed by Bryan Singer. Noel Neill and Jack Larson, who played Lois and Jimmy Olsen in TV's “Adventures of Superman,” have cameos.
