Cast members from the popular "The Adventures of Superboy" television series (1988-1992) will be appearing at the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention which takes place on Sunday, January 15, 2012.

Appearing will be John Haymes Newton who starred as Superboy/Clark Kent for the first season, James Calvert who starred as T.J. White; the son of Perry White and friend to Clark Kent, Ilya Salkind who was Executive Producer of the series as well as "Superman: The Movie", "Superman: II" and "Superman: III", and Special Effects Creator Rob Burman, who worked on the Bizarro character and all the monsters for the series.

Also attending will be actor Ron Ely ("Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze", "Tarzan of the Apes") who starred as an older, alternate Superman who meets his younger self in the third season episode titled "The Road to Hell: Part 2".

Actress Tracy Roberts, who starred as Darla Sanderson; Lex Luthor's girlfriend and henchwoman, was originally scheduled to attend the convention as well but has had to unfortunately cancel her appearance.

"The Adventures of Superboy" guests will be meeting fans and signing autographs on Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 11AM - 4PM. There is a charge for each autograph but it includes a choice of photo.

The Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention will take place at The Shrine Auditorium Expo Center which is located at 700 West 32nd St. In Los Angeles.
