ComicBookMovie.com reports that composer Hans Zimmer has completed the new score for Zack Snyder's reboot of the Superman film franchise, "Man of Steel."
According to the article, fellow composer Tom Holkenborg recently tweeted the following in regard to the highly anticipated score for the new film:
"and back in the studio!! Big playback coming up tomorrow with @ZackSnyder @RealHansZimmer ..... The whole movie scored! #manofsteel"
It's possible that the new score could be featured in the next trailer for "Man of Steel" which should be released from Warner Bros. Entertainment within the next few months.
Next summer, "Man of Steel" is coming to the big screen. The film is from director Zack Snyder and producers Charles Roven, Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas and Deborah Snyder. The screenplay was written by David S. Goyer from a story by Goyer & Nolan, based upon Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster and published by DC Comics.
"Man of Steel" stars Henry Cavill, Russell Crowe, Michael Shannon, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, and Christopher Meloni.
The film opens nationwide on June 14, 2013.
