October 26, 2016: Henry Cavill Nominated for People's Choice Award

Henry Cavill has received a nomination for a People's Choice Award in the category of "Favorite Action Movie Actor" for his starring role as the Man of Steel in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".
In addition to Cavill's nomination, the blockbuster film itself has also received a nomination in the categories of "Favorite Movie" and "Favorite Action Movie".
Other stars of the film have also received nominations including Ben Affleck ("Favorite Movie Actor" & "Favorite Action Movie Actor") and Gal Gadot ("Favorite Action Movie Actress").
Nominee voting ends on Thursday, November 3rd (11:59 PM, ET) so fans have just a little less than two weeks to get your their in. The top five vote-getters in each category will be revealed at the People’s Choice Awards Nominations Announcement Press Conference on Tuesday, November 15th, which is also when finalist voting will begin.
The People's Choice Awards 2017 will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles Wednesday, January 18th, 2017 (9:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.
The People’s Choice Awards is the only major awards show where fans choose the nominees and winners in movie, music, television and digital categories.
