August 22, 2014: Key "Batman v. Superman" Sequence Filmed in Washington, DC

Posted by Neil Cole

According to a new report from Batman-News, Superman may have to answer to the US government for the extensive destruction caused to Metropolis during his battle with General Zod in "Man of Steel."

Here's an excerpt: (Warning, some spoilers are revealed)

A major action scene was shot in July in one of the big studios in Detroit. Without giving too much away... it involves Superman and the United States Capitol building in Washington D.C. Superman will have to answer for what happened at the end of "Man of Steel." Half the public blames him for all the death and destruction. If it wasn't for Superman being there, General Zod would have never come to Earth.

Adding credibilty to this latest rumor are the following photos posted by fan Bananadoc which reveal police cars, buses, and taxis branded with Washington D.C. markings.
