April 22, 2014: John Williams to Conduct Oregon Concert

Famed "Superman: The Movie" composer John Williams will lead the Oregon Symphony in an exciting benefit concert of music from the movies on Monday, April 28th at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall at 7:30pm in Portland, OR.
Joining Maestro Williams on stage will be violinist Bing Wang, Associate Concertmaster of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, to perform Williams' own arrangements of music from "Scent of a Woman" and "Fiddler on the Roof."
All proceeds from this special concert, entitled "John Williams: Maestro of the Movies," will benefit the Oregon Symphony’s award-winning education and community outreach efforts.
