Superman alumni actor and former professional boxer (1966-1974), Jack O'Halloran has been announced as an inductee into the New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame.
On Thursday evening, November 13, 2014, the New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame will hold it's 45th Annual Dinner and Induction Ceremonies at the beautiful Venetian, located at 546 River Drive, Garfield, New Jersey starting at 7:00PM.
O'Halloran, who is best known for his role as the mute Kryptonian villian Non in "Superman: The Movie" and "Superman: II", will be among fifteen of boxing's finest to be inducted during the ceremony.
During his boxing career, O'Halloran defeated former title contenders Cleveland Williams & Manuel Ramosht and, in 1973, was close to attaining a match against Muhammad Ali when he was knocked out by Jimmy Summerville which ended his chances to fight Ali.
