March 25, 2015: First Official Look at Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor
Warner Bros. has released the following first official look at actor Jesse Eisenberg in his role as Lex Luthor in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."
The image comes courtesy of Entertainment Weekly and features the "Social Network" star sporting the classic bald head of the iconic Superman adversary and, sometimes, ally.
"Our Lex is disarming and he's not fake," says director Zack Snyder. "He says what he believes and he says what's on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it’s all there."
In addition to Eisenberg, "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" stars Henry Cavill returning to his role as Superman/Clark Kent alongside Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, relative newcomer Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince, and Jason Momoa as Aquaman.
The film also stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, and Holly Hunter as a yet-to-be-named member of the US Congress.
"Dawn of Justice" receives a worldwide release on March 25, 2016.
