Renowned British actor John Cleese has recently been rumored to have a role in director Zack Snyder's highly anticipated "Justice League" film.
The rumor began after Batman-News posted that set photographer Clay Enos has started following Cleese on Twitter which was followed shortly thereafter by Cleese following both Snyder and actor Ben Affleck.
Speculation points to Cleese possibly portraying the character of Wintergreen who, in the comics, is depicted as a former member of the British Army SAS and aide/butler to Sgt. Slade Wilson (aka Deathstroke the Terminator).
Considering the fact that Deathstoke has already been confirmed as appearing in "Justice League" with actor Joe Manganiello in the role, Cleese's role as Wintergreen does have a possibility of being more than just a rumor.
"Justice League" officially premieres on November 17, 2017 and stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, and Willem Dafoe an Atlantean, Nuidis Vulko.
