According to a new report from The Wrap, an appearance by the Green Lantern may be featured in director Zack Snyder's "Justice League" movie.
The rumored appearance is only briefly touched upon in the article which states "a member of the Green Lantern Corps will be seen in Justice League in a key sequence."
It appears as though, as opposed to being featured prominently in the film, the iconic character's role will be similar to the cameo appearances of the Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" or Batman's small role in "Suicide Squad".
While Warner Bros. has not confirmed or denied this latest rumor, the studio does have plans to release a Green Lantern Corps movie in 2020 and an appearance in "Justice League" would be a perfect way to introduce the character prior to the future film.
However, "Justice League" producer Charles Roven has previously stated that the Green Lantern would most likely not appear until the second Justice League which is not scheduled to be released until 2019.
