The second annual Long Beach Comic Con is set to take place October 29th - 31st at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California.

Among the scheduled events are two special screenings that Superman fans will want to be sure to check out.

On Friday, October 29th, fans are invited to join Warner Home Video and DC Entertainment for from 5PM - 5:45PM in the Seaside Ballroom A for a pre-release screening of the all-new documentary "Secret Origin: The Story of DC Comics", a compelling insider's tale and a 75th anniversary celebration filled with interviews, archival footage and a dazzling parade of riveting, splashy DC covers.

This new documentary also features the story behind the amazing tales of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman and the equally impressive story of the challenges, creativity and triumphs of the company that brought those characters to life.

Secret Origin is narrated by Ryan Reynolds, and will be distributed by Warner Home Video on November 9, 2010.

Next up on Saturday, October 30th, fans will have the opportunity to check out the full length exclusive premiere of "Superman/Shazam: The Return of Black Adam" from 11AM - 11:45AM in Seaside Ballroom B.

The 24 minute long film is part of the DC Showcase Animated Shorts Collection and stars the voice talents of George Newbern (Superman), Jerry O'Connell (Captain Marvel), James Garner (The Wizard) and Arnold Vosloo (Black Adam), the 24-minute

Warner Home Video will release the DC Showcase Animated Shorts Collection (which also features the previously released shorts The Spectre, Jonah Hex and Green Arrow) on November 9, 2010.
