After 10 seasons on television - on both the WB Network and later, the CW Network - and continuing with a season 11 via comic book form, "Smallville" is officially coming to an end.
Writer Bryan Q. Miller has confirmed via the following Tweet that the popular series will indeed end following the events of the current 12-part story arc, "Continuity":
I'll do a proper Tumblr post about it when I get home, but yes, #SmallvilleS11- and the series- will be concluding with Continuity

Miller went on to add that the end of the series "was planned well in advance [and] that Continuity would bee the comic series' finale. We just couldn't announce that until today."
There are also currently no plans for a season 12.
