October 6, 2010: Superman Reboot Script Details Emerge

Digital Spy reports that a few details for Zack Snyder's Superman reboot have emerged.

According to the report, the script by David Goyer will allegedly follow journalist Clark Kent as he travels the world while making the descision whether or not he wants to become Superman. Recent reports also indicate that General Zod may return as the film's villain.

Snyder has reportedly expressed concerns about Goyer's script which has reportedly been rushed through and been described as "a bit of a mess".

Warner Bros. allegedly signed Snyder to direct the project because they believe he will be able to rectify the problems quickly.

If all goes according to plan, the new film will be in production by next year in order to avoid potential lawsuits from the heirs of the Man of Steel's creators and be in theaters for a 2012 holiday season release.
