Beginning in 1916 and continuing for over 47 years, world-renowned artist Norman Rockwell published a total of 323 original covers for the Saturday Evening Post featuring realistic depictions of everyday life scenarios.
Inspired by Rockwell's artwork, artist Ruiz Burgos (aka "OnlyMilo") has created an original series of Saturday Evening Post covers featuring the superheroes & villains of DC Comics.
One such cover - pictured below - depicts Clark Kent sitting at a vintage shoe-shine booth surrounded by subtle references to the Man of Steel including a child reading a copy of "Action Comics No. 1" and an advertisement pertaining to Superman co-creators, Joe Siegel and Jerry Shuster.
