June 20, 2017: "Supergirl" Nominated for Three Teen Choice Awards

The Teen Choice Awards have announced their nominees for the 2017 ceremony with "Supergirl" receiving nominations in three categories.

The hit CW television series has been nominated for the category of "Choice Action TV Show" while stars Melissa Benoist and Chris Wood have received nominations for their respective roles as Supergirl and Mon-El in the categories of "Choice Action TV Actress" and "Choice Action TV Actor".

The awards celebrate the year's achievements in music, film, television, sports, fashion, comedy, and the Internet, and were voted on by viewers aged 13–19 through various social media sites.

The Teen Choice 2017 Awards ceremony is scheduled to air live on Sunday, August 13th at 8:00PM (EST) on Fox.
