Posted by Neil Cole

An iconic piece of Superman memorabilia has found a new home at the world famous Super Museum in Metropolis, IL.

The Superman Talking Telephone Booth which used to sit in the Metropolis Chamber of Commerce building through the mid-1990's is now on display at the museum and gives visitors the opportunity to "talk" to the Man of Steel.

Upon lifting the receiver, visitors receive a greeting from Superman saying "Hello, I'm Superman. I hope you are having a super day!"

The phonebooth is on permanent loan from collectors Jim and Jenny Walters who also have a vast collection of historical Metropolis, IL and "Amazing World of Superman" items which will also be on display at the Super Museum.
