April 29, 2010: Another Justice League Character Heading to the Big Screen?

by Neil Cole

Pajiba has posted an article claiming that Warner Bros. have plans to bring Justice League member "Starman" to the big screen:

"In any event, according to an inside source, Warner Brother, in partnership with Lin Productions and DC Comics, is bringing Starman to the big screen. Which version is sort of unknown — he’ll wield a gravity rod, have energy powers, and likely be able to fly. One of the more recent Starman characters could also manipulate mass, but not word on whether that power will be present. It’s being produced by Dan Lin (Sherlock Holmes — yay!, Terminator Salvation — hmm…) and Gregory Noveck (Jonah Hex — jury’s still out). No writer or director is attached yet, as the film is in very early development."

It will be interesting to see how "Starman" will fit into the "Justice League" plan. Both "Batman 3" and the "Superman" reboot are set to be released in 2012, the studio will likely have the "Starman" movie in theaters by next year or in 2013. Stay tuned.
