April 28, 2016: "Batman v Superman" Ultimate Edition Confirmed at Over Three Hours

Thanks to an on-line Swedish retailer, the official run time for the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - Ultimate Edition" Blu-ray has been confirmed at 181 minutes.
The R-Rated extended edition will feature new footage which was cut from the theatrical release of the film including actress Jena Malone's role - which is expected to be Barbara Gordon - as well as a substantial increase in overall violence.
The Swedish retailer listing also reveals that there will be roughly two hours of bonus features included in the Ultimate Edition release.
"Batman v Superman" is currently playing in theaters and has grossed over $850 million wordwide. An official release date for the Ultimate Edition Blu-ray or other home edition releases has yet to be announced by the studio.
