Actor Peter Facinelli has been announced as a celebrity guest at the upcoming 38th Annual Superman Celebration in Metropolis, IL.
Facinelli has established himself as one of Hollywood's most sought-after actors with distinctive and impressive performances. He currently stars on the hit CBS series "SuperGirl" where he portrays green tech billionaire Maxwell Lord in a recurring role.
Other acting credits include the role of Carlisle Cullen in the "Twilight" film trilogy and the Showtime dark comedy series "Nurse Jackie" where he starred as Dr. Fitch Cooper for seven seasons.
The Superman Celebration is a long standing festival and a must see event for people of all ages, especially comic book lovers. Superman fans travel from all over the globe to visit the small southern Illinois town that is the Official Home of Superman. The real life Metropolis, with a population of 6,500 residents, welcomes approximately 30,000 people over the four-day celebration.
