Posted by Neil Cole

With filming of the 2016 follow-up to "Man of Steel" set to begin in Detroit, MI in the coming weeks, cast and crew members have begun to descend on the Motor City to start work on the highly anticipated movie.

Over the past few weeks, unofficial reports have sprung up on social media indicating that Henry Cavill, who will reprise his role as Superman/Clark Kent, and director Zack Snyder are already on location.

In addition, Henry Cavill.org recently reported that actress Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) has stated via the Israeli publication Ynet that she has left Tel Aviv for Detroit to join her co-stars for film.

Hollywood trainer Mark Twight, who helped train Henry Cavill for his role as Superman in the first film, has been busy over the past two months prepping Gadot for her action sequences as the Amazonian princess.

While there is currently no word on Nothing on when Ben Affleck will arrive on set, his wife Jennifer Garner recently got in a bit of trouble when talking about her husband's role as Batman and his 17-inch biceps. Garner has since stated, "you won't be hearing from me on the Batman front (any more)."

The yet-to-be-officially-titled "Batman vs. Superman" is set to premiere in the US on May 6, 2016 where it will go head-to-head with Marvel Studios' "Captain America 3" for box office supremacy. The film will debut in the UK a week earlier on April 29, 2016.
