The Superman Celebration is pleased to announce the Celebrity Guests for the 36th annual festival to be held June 12-15 in Metropolis, IL.

Special Guest, Dean Cain, best known for his breakthrough role as Superman/Clark Kent in the 1993 television hit series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman will be appearing on Saturday, June 14. Dean attended Santa Monica High School where he excelled in sports. Cain graduated high school in 1984 and was offered athletic scholarships to 17 universities, but chose Princeton University. At Princeton, he was captain of the volleyball team and played free safety (Defensive Back) on the football team, where he had record-setting 12 interceptions in a single season. Immediately after graduating, Cain signed on as a free agent with the Buffalo Bills, an NFL football team, but a knee injury during training camp ended his football career before it began. He has also appeared in a recurring role as Casey Manning in the television series Las Vegas. Cain guest-starred in a seventh season episode of Smallville as the immortal Dr. Curtis Knox.

Superman will be sharing the stage with an actor from the 1989 movie Batman. With the 75th anniversary of the character Batman first appearing in Detective Comics #27 and 25th anniversary of the Feature Film Batman directed by Tim Burton and starring Michael Keaton, Special guest, Billy Dee Williams, who played DA Harvey Dent in Batman (1989), will be joining Dean Cain on Saturday to meet the fans.
