Deleted Darkseid Knightmare Scene Revealed in "Justice League" Storyboard

by Neil Cole

A deleted scene from "Justice League" has been revealed via an early storyboard from the film which would have featured the iconic villain Darkseid as well as the ruins of the Hall of Justice.

Exclusively revealed by Screen Rant, the storyboard scene takes place in the same apocalyptic timeline as depicted in the Knightmare dream sequence from "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" in which the Dark Knight battles Superman Soldiers and Parademons against a landscape emblazoned with Darkseid's Omega symbol.

As depicted in the storyboard below, the scene would have featured Darkseid sitting upon his throne as the three Mother Boxes merge together resulting in the world becoming a wasteland complete with the ruins of the Hall of Justice and another vision of the Omega symbol being scarred into the Earth.

With this latest reveal of a cancelled scene from the film in addition to recently released deleted scenes featuring Superman, there may well be a Zack Snyder cut of "Justice League" made available some day. For now though, fans can check out the digital release of "Justice League" today and Blu-ray/DVD release on March 13th.

"Justice League" stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
