February 2, 2016: Mattel Reveals "Batman v Superman" Man of Steel Barbie

Mattel has unveiled the following image of their collector's edition Superman Barbie which is designed after Henry Cavill's portrayal of the iconic superhero in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice":
The new figure is the latest in the Barbie collectible line which includes Ben Affleck as Batman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman which was previously unveiled by the toy company at San Diego Comic Con in 2015.
The packaging for all three figures features the following movie synopsis:
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City sends its own formidable, forceful vigilante to take on the most revered, modern-day savior from Metropolis while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.
Both the Barbie Superman and Barbie Batman figures will retail for $110 USD while Wonder Woman will retail for $90 USD.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" premieres in theaters nationwide and select IMAX locations on March 25th, 2016.
