Bennett's animation career began with "Fractured Fairy Tales" in 1960 on The Bullwinkle Show which would ultimately lead to her most well-known role as Cindy Bear for nearly three decades on various Yogi Bear cartoon series. Her final voice role would be as Aunt May Parker on the 2nd - 5th seasons of the 1990's Fox Kids series "Spider-Man: The Animated Series".

Sadly, Bennett passed away on March 31st, 2020 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles following complications from COVID-19 at the age of 88.
