Vintage Copy of Superman #1 Available at Auction
An original, vintage copy of "Superman No. 1" (CGC 7.0) is currently available for proxy bidding as part of the Comics & Comic Art Signature Auction #7279 presented by Heritage Auctions.
Superman #1 (DC, 1939) CGC Apparent FN/VF 7.0 Extensive (A-5) Off-white to white pages. Good looking copy of an issue that's hard to find in unrestored grades above FN 6.0. The issue has the origin of Superman and is currently ranked #3 on Overstreet's Top 100 Golden Age Comics list. Superman co-creator Joe Shuster contributed cover and interior art, as well as the back cover pin-up. CGC notes, "Restoration includes: color touch, pieces added, reinforced, cleaned."
