The Man of Steel's legacy will soar to new heights this summer as FANBOY EXPO Knoxville welcomes a superpowered lineup of stars who've donned the iconic "S" or stood alongside Superman across generations of television and film. From classic TV favorites to big-screen heroes, the 2025 event will unite a powerhouse roster of Superman actors and actresses, celebrating the enduring legacy of one of pop culture's most beloved superheroes.
Scheduled to appear during the conventionare:
• Tom Welling, best known as Clark Kent in the long-running hit series "Smallville"
• Brandon Routh, who portrayed the Man of Steel in "Superman Returns" and the Atom in the Arrowverse
• Dean Cain, who brought Superman to life in the '90s favorite "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman"
• Gerard Christopher, star of "Superboy" in the beloved late-'80s series
• Helen Slater, star of the 1984 film, "Supergirl" and recurring guest in the tv series, "Smallville" and "Supergirl"
• Erica Durance, Lois Lane in "Smallville" and Alura Zor-El in "Supergirl"
• Laura Vandervoort, who portrayed Kara Zor-El in "Smallville" and Brainiac-5's adversary Indigo in "Supergirl"
• James Marsters, known for his roles as Brainiac in "Smallville" and Spike in "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and "Angel"
This unprecedented gathering of Superman family alumni offers fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the actors who've shaped the mythology of the Last Son of Krypton across decades of television and film. From silver screen heroes to CW favorites, the event will include autograph sessions, photo ops, and special panels, where guests will share behind-the-scenes stories, reflect on their roles, and discuss the impact of Superman on popular culture.
FANBOY EXPO Knoxville 2025 takes place July 11th - 13th at the Knoxville Convention Center in Knoxville, TN and promises to be one of the most super events of the year, with over 30,000 expected attendees and a packed schedule of celebrity guests, artists, cosplay events, and fandom experiences.
