Upper Deck Releases New "Inspirations: The World of DC" Trading Card Set

Upper Deck has launched "Inspirations: The World of DC", a new premium trading card collection celebrating the iconic heroes, villains and legendary comic book covers that have defined DC for generations. The hobby-exclusive release showcases original artwork inspired by some of the publisher's most recognizable characters while offering collectors a variety of premium chase cards and limited-edition inserts.
The collection features a 90-card base set highlighting Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Harley Quinn, The Joker and numerous other characters from across the DC Universe. Every hobby pack contains a combination of base cards and premium parallels, including Bronze, Silver, Gold and ultra-rare one-of-one Blue Spectrum editions. Collectors can also pursue Matte Foil and Pearlescence parallels that add additional rarity to the set.
Among the product's signature attractions are several original insert series celebrating DC's artistic legacy. Homage Art cards recreate classic comic book covers, while Artist Spotlight and Artist Spotlight Horizontal subsets recognize acclaimed comic artists through exclusive illustrations. The Halloween-themed Trick or Treat insert offers a playful take on DC's legendary characters, with additional case-hit versions featuring embossed and maximum gloss finishes.
Collectors can also chase Creator Autograph cards featuring signatures from celebrated comic creators, along with one-of-a-kind Original Art Sketch cards produced by professional artists. Printing Plates and other limited collectibles further enhance the product's appeal, reinforcing Upper Deck's emphasis on premium entertainment trading cards and unique collector experiences.
"Inspirations: The World of DC" is available exclusively in hobby configuration, with each box containing 12 packs of four cards. On average, hobby boxes include three featured insert cards, one Matte Foil card and one Pearlescence parallel, making the release one of Upper Deck's most comprehensive celebrations of DC Comics artwork and storytelling to date.
