Three billboard-sized posters promoting the upcoming "Supergirl" (2026) film has been installed at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, creating a bold visual centerpiece on the studio grounds. The large-scale display presents the Girl of Steel in a striking, contemporary style, turning part of the production hub into a high-impact promotional showcase.
The posters emphasize a more modern and assertive interpretation of Supergirl, reflecting the film's distinct tone within the evolving DC cinematic landscape. Their imposing size and prominent placement underscore the studio's effort to generate early anticipation for what is positioned as a major upcoming release.
Filmed in part at Leavesden, the project presents a more complex and hardened version of the character, shaped by difficult experiences and set against a broader cosmic narrative. The installation of these three monumental posters at the studio not only highlights its role in the production, but also offers an early indication of the film's scale and ambition.
"Supergirl" (2026), directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Ana Nogueira, stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El. Developed as part of the newly restructured DC Universe overseen by DC Studios co-chairs, James Gunn and Peter Safran, the film is scheduled for theatrical release on June 26, 2026.
