Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum Attending Superman Celebration
"Smallville" actors Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum will be among the featured celebrity guests appearing at the 44th Annual Superman Celebration which takes place June 10th - 12th in Metropolis, IL.
Welling is best known for playing Clark Kent on the long-running CW television series "Smallville". In addition to acting, he directed multiple episodes of the series and served as an executive producer.
Welling recently starred in the film "The Choice" (2016) while other feature film credits include "Draft Day" (2014), "Parkland" (2014), "Cheaper by the Dozen" (2003), "Cheaper by the Dozen 2" (2005) and "The Fog" (2005). His television credits include "Undeclared" and "Judging Amy", as well as executive producing the series "Hellcats", starring Aly Michalka and Ashley Tisdale. Welling recently played Marcus Pierce in Season Three of "Lucifer".
Rosenbaum is best known for playing Lex Luthor on the smash hit "Smallville". He has appeared in several well-known feature films including "Urban Legend" (1998), "Bringing Down the House" (2003), "Hit and Run" (2012), and played the Marvel character Martinex in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" (2017).
He is also an accomplished voice actor, having voiced Wally West/The Flash on the popular animated series "Justice League" and "Justice League Unlimited", as well as Barry Allen's The Flash in the animated film "Justice League: Doom" (2012).
Both Welling and Rosenbaum will appear during four autograph sessions on Saturday, June 11th. A ticket will be required per person/per session and are included in the MSC VIP, the Up, Up & Away!, and the America's Hero Sponsorships. The tickets are a limited quantity and sessions will fill up as the sponsorships are received. There are additional fees for photo ops and autographs during the sessions. Photos will be available to purchase and fans may bring items for autographs.
Rosenbaum will also appear for autographs and photos on Sunday, June 12th with no ticket needed. Sponsors will be able to use their fast pass to go to the front of the line!
In addition to the autograph sessions, both actors will also be hosting their extremely popular "Smallville Nights" event on Saturday, June 11th from 7:30pm - 9:00pm in the Southern 7 Headstart (aka "Smallville" gym) located at 416 East 9th Street in downtown Metropolis.
Come out and join your favorite Clark and Lex as they bring some of the Best Smallville moments to life! Reenacting scenes from the series, Tom and Michael will also bring a few lucky fans up to act with them on stage as well as letting them take on the Director's role and be directed by them as they read through their lines! Watch and laugh as they attempt to get through scenes from the Smallville Pilot without breaking character. Every fan in attendance will receive a keepsake gift and a select few will win a prize from Tom and Michael's collection.
