'Superman in Concert' to Highlight Naples International Film Festival Closing Night

The 2026 Naples International Film Festival will conclude with a tribute to one of the most iconic superhero films ever made with a presentation of 'Superman in Concert' on October 25th, 2026. The special event will take place at the Frances Pew Hayes Hall multipurpose performing arts venue in Naples, FL and feature a full screening of Richard Donner's 1978 blockbuster film, "Superman: The Movie" accompanied live by the Naples Philharmonic performing John Williams' legendary Academy Award-nominated score under the direction of Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly.
The cinematic concert showcases the film that introduced Christopher Reeve as the Man of Steel alongside an acclaimed cast including Marlon Brando, Gene Hackman, Margot Kidder and Ned Beatty. Williams' soaring score, regarded as one of the most recognizable themes in film history, will be performed live in synchronization with the movie, offering audiences an immersive concert experience that celebrates the enduring legacy of Superman on the big screen.
'Superman in Concert' serves as the centerpiece of the Naples International Film Festival's Closing Night festivities. The evening begins with the festival's annual Awards Ceremony honoring the top narrative features, documentaries and short films from this year's event, followed by a reception with complimentary beverages and hors d'oeuvres before guests take their seats in Hayes Hall for the concert presentation.
