"Superman: II" Screening in Chicago, IL
The historic Logan Theatre in Chicago, Illinois will feature two special screenings of "Superman: II" on Wednesday, June 15th and Thursday, June 16th at 10:30PM.
Golden Globe-nominee Christopher Reeve (The Remains of the Day, Deathtrap), Academy Award-winner Gene Hackman (The Birdcage, Unforgiven) and an all-star cast are back again in this sequel to the boxoffice smash that continues the great adventures of the Man of Steel.
Superman enters the battle of his life when he fights to save the planet Earth from three intergalactic arch-criminals whose powers are as fantastic as his own. Spectacular action, unlimited surprises abound, as Superman again faces a cosmic confrontation between good and evil. Amidst it all is the will-they-or-won't-they romance of the ever-flirtatious Lois and Clark.
Co-starring Margot Kidder (Maverick) as Lois Lane, Ned Beatty (Roseanne) and Academy Award-nominees Valerie Perrine (ER) and Terence Stamp (The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert).
Prior to the June 16th screening, attendess are invited to arrive at 8:30PM for drinks and a costume contest. The best costume will win badges to the Fan Expo Chicago convention and 2nd & 3rd prize winners with receive Logan Theatre and G-Mart Comics.
