Shaquille O'Neal Superman-Themed Mansion Sells for $11-Million

The 31,000 square-foot mansion of retired pro-basketball superstar Shaquille O'Neal situated within the Isleworth Golf & Country Club in Windermere, FL has sold for $11 million dollars.

O'Neal originally purchased the property in 1993 for $3.95 million before listing it on the real estate market in 2018 for $28 million. Following several price reductions of the years, the property finally sold this past weekend to an undisclosed buyer.

Highly customized with Superman theming throughout, the 12-bedroom estate is ideal for its privacy, amenities and sheer space offered for seamless indoor-outdoor living. An array of indoor amenities include 15 bathrooms, a 6,000 sq. ft. indoor basketball court, a 17+ car showroom-style garage, a cigar bar with walk-in humidor and wine storage, soundproof home theater, three fireplaces, Crestron smart-home technology, lakefront office and a spacious chef's kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances.

Benjamin Hillman with Premier Sotheby's International Realty represented O'Neal. Rob Rahter, a broker associate with Stockworth Realty Group, represented the buyer.
