The landmark DC Comics publication collects the Superman stories by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster which first appeared in Action Comics #1-4 with the addition of four new pages. The title was originally conceived as a one-shot, and was released in May 1939, but went on to become one of the foundational DC Comics series of the gold and silver ages.

The CGC notes that restorations to the vintage comic book include color touching, pieces added, tear seals, cleaning, and reinforcement. The comic is estimated to sell for $35,000 to $50,000 with bidding scheduled to end on Thursday, September 24th at 9:00PM.

As of this writing, the current bid was $23,650. For more information or to place a bid, please visit Hakes.com.
