Prop Store Offering Rare Superman Items at Upcoming Entertainment Memorabilia Auction
Prop Store Ultimate Collectibles will be offering an assortment of rare, one of a kind Superman items at their upcoming Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction which takes place November 9th - 11th, 2021.
Among the items featured in the auction are two hair pieces worn by Christopher Reeve in "Superman: The Movie"; one from his role as the Man of Steel and the other from his portrayal of Clark Kent. Each wig is estimated to fetch £3,000 - £5,000.
From "Superman: II" are two cast resin Flying Model Miniatures (£4,000 - £6,000 estimate) created by renowned visual effects supervisor Derek Meddings of actors Terence Stamp and Jack O'Halloran in their respective roles as the Kryptonian villains General Zod and Non.
Other items from the Christopher Reeve movies consist of actress Valerie Perrine's red dress from her role of Eve Teschmacher, a Superman stunt dummy head, an Astronaut and Cosmonaut suit from "Superman: IV - The Quest for Peace", and various storyboards from all four films.
More recent items include a collection of unfinished production pieces from Henry Cavill's Superman costume from "Man of Steel", a set of printed color costume designs from "Man of Steel", and Ben Affleck's Gucci overcoat from his role as Bruce Wayne in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".
