DC Studios has not reached a decision on whether My Adventures With Superman will return for a fourth season, leaving the future of the animated series uncertain following the conclusion of its third season in August.

During a recent conversation with Collider’s Steve Weintraub ahead of Clayface, DC Studios co-chairman and co-CEO Peter Safran described the show’s status as “up in the air right now.” Safran also confirmed that the creative team behind the Superman series is working on My Adventures With Green Lantern, a separate animated production in development for DC.

The update follows comments made earlier this year by showrunner Jake Wyatt, who said a fourth season had not been ordered despite what he described as the program’s strongest viewership to date. Neither DC Studios nor the show’s television partners have announced a renewal or a cancellation, and no timetable has been provided for a final decision.

Safran also addressed the possibility of the two animated series sharing characters. He indicated that a crossover was unlikely during the first season of My Adventures With Green Lantern but did not rule out an appearance in the future. No crossover plans or specific characters have been confirmed.

Premiering in 2023, My Adventures With Superman follows a young Clark Kent as he balances his emerging superhero identity with his work at the Daily Planet alongside Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen. Jack Quaid voices Superman, with Alice Lee as Lois and Ishmel Sahid as Jimmy. The series completed its third season in August 2026, and its next chapter remains unannounced.
