Lois Lane Voice Actress Julie Bennett Passes Away

Voice Actress Julie Bennett who provided the voice of Lois Lane on the Filmation animated series "The New Adventures of Superman" has died at the age of 88.

According to talent agent and friend Mark Scroggs, Bennett passed away on March 31st at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles following complications from COVID-19.

Bennett's animation career began with "Fractured Fairy Tales" in 1960 on The Bullwinkle Show which would ultimately lead to her most well-known role as Cindy Bear for nearly three decades on various Yogi Bear cartoon series. Her final voice role would be as Aunt May Parker on the 2nd - 5th seasons of the 1990's Fox Kids series "Spider-Man: The Animated Series".

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Actors' Fund in Bennett's name.
