LEGO Celebrates DC's Golden Age With BrickHeadz Superman and Batman Collectible Figure Set

The LEGO Group is bringing two of DC’s most iconic Super Heroes back to their roots with the new LEGO® BrickHeadz™ DC Golden Age Superman™ and Batman™ Figures (40859), a collectible building set inspired by the earliest versions of the legendary characters. The set allows fans to build and display Superman and Batman in the distinctive LEGO BrickHeadz style while celebrating the enduring legacy of the heroes who helped define the superhero genre.
The 218-piece building set features brick-built versions of Superman and Batman based on their classic Golden Age appearances, giving fans the opportunity to recreate the legendary duo as collectible display pieces. Superman’s figure includes a hidden green kryptonite brick within his body, while Batman’s figure contains a special golden coin celebrating the 20th anniversary of LEGO DC Batman, adding an extra collectible element for fans to discover.
Designed for play and display, the LEGO BrickHeadz DC Golden Age Superman and Batman Figures come with individual stands, allowing builders to showcase the two heroes alongside other LEGO BrickHeadz sets, sold separately. The figures also provide fans with a creative way to bring DC adventures to life, whether through imaginative play or as part of a superhero collection.
The set is designed for boys and girls ages 10 and up and includes access to the LEGO Builder app, which provides digital building instructions with features that allow users to zoom in, rotate models in 3D and track their progress throughout construction. The LEGO BrickHeadz DC Golden Age Superman and Batman Figures (40859) will be available beginning Sept. 1, 2026, for a suggested retail price of $24.99. The release continues LEGO’s ongoing celebration of DC history, offering fans a nostalgic tribute to two of the world’s most recognizable Super Heroes.
