Hi-Point Theatre Presents "The Superman Cartoons of Max Fleischer"

The historic Hi-Pointe Theatre in St. Louis, MO proudly announces a thrilling new showcase: "The Superman Cartoons of Max Fleischer", beginning June 28, 2025. This special series will present the groundbreaking 1941-42 Superman animated shorts from Fleischer Studios in stunning 4K restorations, offering audiences a rare chance to experience these legendary cartoons as they were meant to be seen - on the big screen.
Regarded as the first animated theatrical adventures of the Man of Steel, the Fleischer Superman cartoons revolutionized superhero storytelling and visual style, laying the foundation for decades of comic book animation. Their cinematic flair, dynamic action, and noir-inspired aesthetic went on to influence later classics such as "Batman: The Animated Series" and "Superman: The Animated Series".
Among the featured selections are:
