Fans of classic film and television will have the opportunity to meet actress and singer Helen Slater, best known for her iconic portrayal of Kara Zor-El in the 1984 superhero film "Supergirl", when she appears as a featured guest at inaugural Rewind Washington Convention, taking place March 28th & 29th at the Washington State Fair and Events Center in Puyallup, Washington. The nostalgia-focused convention will celebrate beloved entertainment from past decades with celebrity guests, panels, vendors, retro gaming, and fan experiences.
Slater will participate in autograph sessions, photo opportunities, and fan panels throughout the two-day event, giving attendees a chance to hear firsthand stories from her career in film and television. Beyond her groundbreaking role as "Supergirl", Slater is also known for performances in films such as "The Legend of Billie Jean", "Ruthless People", and "City Slickers". Her television credits include memorable roles in "Smallville" and "Supergirl", where she returned to the DC universe in new roles that connected her legacy to a new generation of fans.
The Rewind Washington Convention is presented by the team behind Washington State Summer Con and is a brand-new convention designed to celebrate pop culture nostalgia from television, movies, music, and sports. The inaugural event will bring together a diverse lineup of celebrity guests alongside exhibits, artist vendors, and interactive programming designed to evoke memories of classic entertainment from past decades.
The event runs Saturday, March 28th from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with VIP ticket holders receiving early entry access.
