Full-Cast Audiobook Adaptation of 'Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow' Set for September Release

One of DC's most celebrated modern graphic novels is making the transition to audiobook with a fully produced adaptation of "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow", bringing Tom King and Bilquis Evely's award-winning story to listeners through an immersive performance featuring a full cast, original music and cinematic sound design.
Scheduled for release on September 1, 2026 from Random House Audio, the production adapts the complete eight-issue comic book series that redefined Kara Zor-El for a new generation of readers. The audiobook arrives as interest in the character continues to grow following the story's influence on DC Studios' recent "Supergirl" film.
The adaptation stars Marcella Lentz-Pope as Supergirl, with Amelia Tyler portraying Ruthye, whose quest for justice serves as the emotional backbone of the story. The cast also includes Lim Shi-An, Jon Bailey, Marc Thompson, Ellen Adair and Tan Kheng Hua, joined by an ensemble of performers portraying the story's expansive cast of characters.
Originally published by DC in 2021 and later collected as a graphic novel, "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" follows Kara Zor-El as she embarks on an interstellar journey alongside a young alien girl seeking revenge against the man responsible for her father's murder. The acclaimed series earned widespread praise for its emotionally driven storytelling and Bilquis Evely's striking artwork, receiving a finalist nomination for the 2023 Hugo Award for Best Graphic Story or Comic while also being recognized among the New York Public Library's Best Books for Adults of 2022.
