First Look at Supergirl Costume from "The Flash" Movie Revealed

"The Flash" director Andy Muschietti has revealed a first look at the Supergirl costume which will be featured in the upcoming 2022 movie.

The reveal features an up close look at Supergirl's "S" shield emblem which is almost identical to the one worn by actor Henry Cavill in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Justice League". This would seem to indicate that this version of Supergirl will be from the same universe established in the Zack Snyder films.

The theory that another unseen Kryptonian was already on Earth prior to Kal-El's arrival (possibly Kara Zor-El) has been previously hinted at following the scene in "Man of Steel" in which Clark Kent finds an empty pod on the ancient Kryptonian scout ship. Whether this will indeed be the case in "The Flash" movie remains to be seen.

Actress Sasha Calle ("The Young and the Restless") was officially cast in the role of Kara Zor-El/Supergirl earlier this year after beating out hundreds of actresses who auditioned to play the iconic DC Comics character.

"The Flash" will feature Ezra Miller once again playing the title role character. The film will also star Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck who will each be reprising their respective roles of Batman. The film is scheduled to release on November 4th, 2022.
