Fans of DC's upcoming "Supergirl" (2026) film are getting an early preview of collectible theater merchandise as the first wave of themed popcorn buckets and beverage cups tied to the movie has surfaced ahead of the film's theatrical debut. The specialty concessions are expected to arrive in cinemas in conjunction with the movie's release next month.
Designed to celebrate the arrival of one of DC Studios' most anticipated releases, the collectibles showcase imagery and branding inspired by Supergirl, offering moviegoers exclusive memorabilia tied to the cinematic launch. Collectible popcorn buckets have increasingly become a centerpiece of blockbuster movie marketing, often serving as fan-favorite keepsakes alongside limited-edition drinkware.
The upcoming film stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, also known as Supergirl, and marks a major addition to DC Studios' evolving cinematic universe. Directed by Craig Gillespie from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira, the story follows Kara as she embarks on a high-stakes interstellar journey shaped by vengeance, justice, and unexpected alliances.
The cast also includes Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa. The film is scheduled to debut internationally beginning June 24th, with a North American release set for June 26th, including IMAX screenings.
