DC Villains 6-Film Limited Edition Steelbook Collection Coming to 4K Ultra HD
Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment is bringing together six DC films spanning more than four decades in a new Amazon-exclusive limited edition Steelbook collection.
Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment will bring together six DC films spanning more than four decades with the upcoming “DC Villains 6-Film Limited Edition Steelbook Library Case,” an Amazon-exclusive collector’s set scheduled for release Oct. 27, 2026. The premium collection features the films on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray, along with digital copies, and is currently available for preorder.
The six-film collection includes:
- Superman: The Movie (1978)
- Batman (1989)
- Batman Returns (1992)
- Aquaman (2018)
- The Suicide Squad (2021)
- The Batman (2022)
Spanning several generations of DC filmmaking, the collection places an emphasis on the memorable villains who have challenged some of the publisher’s most recognizable heroes. The featured adversaries include Gene Hackman’s Lex Luthor opposite Christopher Reeve’s Superman, Jack Nicholson’s Joker, Danny DeVito’s Penguin, Patrick Wilson’s Orm and Paul Dano’s Riddler. James Gunn’s entry in the collection, meanwhile, assembles an unconventional roster of DC villains and antiheroes for a dangerous mission that puts their abilities — and survival instincts — to the test.
Each movie is presented in an individual Steelbook featuring theatrical poster artwork enhanced with villain-inspired markings and a glow-in-the-dark treatment. The six Steelbooks are housed together inside a coordinating glow-in-the-dark library-style display case, with the limited-edition package also including a certificate of authenticity.
For Superman fans, the collection includes Christopher Reeve’s landmark 1978 portrayal of the Man of Steel under the direction of Richard Donner. Reeve stars alongside Margot Kidder as Lois Lane and Hackman as criminal mastermind Lex Luthor in the groundbreaking production that helped establish the blueprint for the modern superhero blockbuster.
